Missed Appointments

As you are aware, the winter season brings on more flu-like illness, and with the Streptococcus A infection in the media, an increase volume of patients are coming through the surgery door.

Sadly, we’ve had patients NOT turning up for their appointments they have previously booked and we desperately want to offer these to patients that are in urgent need of an appointment.

Through patients failing to attend appointments they have pre-booked, it has become necessary to implement the following policy:

If you cannot attend your appointment for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible, giving at least 24 hours notice. We can then offer the appointment to someone who needs it. If you repeatedly fail to attend appointments, this may result in you being removed from our patient list.

This is an extremely busy time and we want to accommodate as many as we can, so please be kind and if you do not need your appointment let us know in advance.
