Sexual Harassment and Misconduct Policy
At our practice , we are committed to providing a safe, respectful and supportive environment for our patients and our staff.
We operate a strict zero-policy toward all forms of abusive behaviour, including sexual harassment, inappropriate comments, unwanted attention, or any behaviour of a sexual nature directed towards staff.
Such behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
If any patient engages in inappropriate or sexually motivated behaviour towards a member of our team:
- The incident will be recorded in the patient’s medical record.
- The individual may be asked to leave the premises immediately.
- Future care may be reviewed and, where appropriate, the patient may be removed from the practice list.
- Serious incidents may be reported to the police.
Our staff have the right to work without fear, discomfort or intimidation. We ask all patients to speak and act respectfully at all times to help us maintain a safe environment for everyone.
